Satan always oppses the Lord in everything. Now we know the Scriptures speak about the 'helmet of salvation" that we are to wear in Eph. 6 as a part of the armor of God. That helmet protects your mind from the firy darts of the devil. God already knows our thoughts.
The devil wants to know your thoughts so he is using a helmet to reveal them. Satan is not interested in protection but in control.
We must draw near to God an resist the devil.
